Mock Interviews

For this assignment, you will schedule a 30 minute mock interview with myself. You’ll be given a moderately difficult coding problem in Python or JavaScript (your choice), and then you’ll solve it in front of a CT instructor.

Keep in mind a few basic things about interviews:
– We want to see how you think and problem solve. Interviewers want to know that you’re able to solve your problems and troubleshoot and think around an issue more than they want to see you solve the problem. Obviously they will want to see proof you know how to code as well. I recommend solving the problem any way you know how first, then refactoring and cleaning it up.
– Talk the entire time. Every step needs to be explained out loud. Practice this with your CodeWars. Talk out loud through your problems.
– This is still just practice! Don’t stress too much about it.

Schedule a time for a mock interview here (Please make sure you also message me on Slack to let me know that you’re scheduling a mock interview, otherwise I will assume this meeting is for help with code):

See you soon!
